Emporio X is the work of artist, Jim Lucio aka Defekto who has enjoyed showing his work in gallery settings as well as creating and collaborating on large scale interactive public art installations.

Emporio X evolved from a background of Xerox-era punk style cut and paste graphic illustration to digital design at MTV Networks, print advertising and instant photography.

Emporio X is an aesthetic and viewpoint that is steeped in pop culture and printed histories. Repurposed, reimagined, restated.
